Spirits of Nola is a walking journey through the rich and layered spiritual traditions that have defined the Crescent City for centuries. As we move through the historic French Quarter, you’ll explore how faith, ritual, and culture intertwine in one of the most spiritually unique places in the world.
From the towering presence of Catholicism—brought by French and Spanish colonists—to the deeply rooted practices of Voodoo and Hoodoo, this tour reveals how diverse belief systems coexist, influence one another, and shape everyday life in New Orleans.
You’ll hear stories of enslaved Africans who preserved sacred traditions under oppression, free people of color who blended cultures into new forms of spiritual expression, and the powerful figures—both revered and misunderstood—who carried these traditions forward. Explore New Orleans the fun and eco-friendly way on a small-group walking tour that explores the Big Easy’s oldest and most distinctive neighborhood. Walk along a flat and leisurely route in the French Quarter learning about the city’s spiritual legacy along the way.

Important Details:
In order for the tour to operate a minimum of 2 people must book. Once two guest have booked our software will allow single riders to reserve.
To go on the tour one must be over 13 years of age?
Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
Tours are limited to 20 people. (If you have a larger group contact us and we will arrange a tour for you).
The tour is $37 per person.
48 hour notice of cancellation is required.
Please arrive for the tour no later, nor sooner than 15 minutes before departure time.
Tours roll rain or shine.
Please note that many New Orleans establishments are cash only…some are card only.
In the event of sever weather before the tour, participants can either reschedule or be refunded. We do not offer refunds once the tour embarks.
If you are driving, street parking in the French Quarter is 2 hours max. You can download the app as instructed on the parking meter and pay again when the 2 hours is over. The best rates on parking in the French Quarter is the Basin Lot. The rate ranges from $5-$10 for 10 hours when there’s no festivals going on. Please a lot extra time to park, our tours depart at the time indicated on your booking.
