The Glow Worm Trio: Artist Profile

What I love about New Orleans is that it’s a city of artist. We bumped into The Glow Worm Trio at the Petite Clouet Cafe on the brake of or Heart of City bike tour today. I asked Robin Rapuzzi about his instrument and he shared his story with us. The Glow Worm Trio is an Italian string trio that specializes in Ballo Disco, Sala da Barba, mazurkas, tarantellas, polkas, and their own original music. If you want to catch one of their performances Follow them on Instagram to see where they’re going to pop up next!

The trio is also for hire for weddings, events, and of course at your local musical establishments. Robin’s entire presentation…shoes, frames of his glasses, even the St. Cecilia medallion on his mandolin complement the Italian music that he plays. New Orleans has some of the most fascinating people in the world. The beautiful thing about the Big Easy is that no one is in a rush and you get to have great conversations with folks! The trio even treated us to a ballad. They played “Parla Più Piano” for us!!! Thanks Glow Worm Trio it was an honor to meet y’all. (Listen to more of their music here).
