FAQS

Do you have any special request for our party?

Yes! Please copy the link to this page and text/email it to all of the participants. Please have them read the following FAQS so that way everyone is on the same page about what to expect.

Can I book if I have less than 10 people?

Yes! We host private rides of any size. The base price for a private nightlife ride is $350 for 1 to 10 riders.

What if one of the people can’t make it? Can I be refunded for that person?

Please be sure to let your party know that this is a private ride. Because it’s a private ride the base rate is $350. We don’t offer refunds if someone can’t make it or backs out. We wont operate this private experience for anything less then our minimum rate of $350.

Do I, and the other people in my group, need to know how to ride a bicycle?

Yes. Please don't book or book someone else if you or the other participant you're booking for can't ride a bicycle. No refund will be issued to anyone who shows up the night of the ride and can't ride a bike. The night ride is for experienced riders only.

Please don’t assume that everyone you are booking for knows how to ride a bicycle. We ask that you vet the other participants to assure they can ride a bike. People who can’t ride a bicycle put themselves and others in danger. It also slows down the 2 hour experience and can be a drag to the rest of the people who know how to ride a bike and are ready to have a good time.

Any damages done to our bicycles or other peoples property as a result of someone not knowing how to ride a bicycle will be charged to the cardholders card that we have on file.

Can I drink alcohol on this ride?

The New Orleans nightlife ride is not a barhop ride or a drinking tour. Our number one priority on the ride is safety. To ensure safety we ask that everyone maintain sobriety. Please arrive to the ride sober. Anyone who shows up inebriated will not be allowed on the ride and will not be refunded.

Riding a bicycle while intoxicated is more dangerous than driving a car while intoxicated. Being inebriated while on the ride puts you and the other riders, and motorist at risk. Please exercise due diligence before the ride to assure everyone in your group is sober before the ride departs. The ride itself is the drug. The endorphins released from riding a bicycle through the city with music and people cheering you on supersedes any experience alcohol can provide.

What's your rain policy?

In the event of sever weather at the start of the ride, participants can either reschedule or be refunded.* If unforeseen inclement weather crops up during the ride we do not offer refunds nor do we reschedule once the ride embarks.

*Please be vigilant of the rain forecast and make a decision about whether or not you want to do the ride at least 2 hours before the start time. As stated above there will be no refund nor will we reschedule any of the missed time due to rain.

What if our group is running late?

Your allotted tour time is the time that you booked. If you booked the 7pm ride and show up at 8pm, the ride will end at 9pm. If you booked the 10pm ride and show up at 11pm, the ride will end at 12am. We do not offer extended time to make up for the time that you missed from being late.

Is this a historical tour?

No. The Nightlife Ride is a leisurely private bike ride around downtown New Orleans with family, friends, music and people cheering you on along the way.

Can I do tricks on the bicycles?

No! Our bikes are not mountain bikes, nor are they BMX bikes. They are not intended to do pop a wheelies, bunny hops, jumping the curb, etc. Our bicycles are city bikes that are designed to cruise and get you to point A to B in class, style, and restraint.

Is this ride for the elderly or physically impaired?

Please note that we will be riding the bicycles in city streets. We also ride the bikes along the river which entails riding up the levee. The levee is small and is no problem for those with normal physical strength. However, it may pose as a problem for those with disabilities or those that that lack physical strength.

Will the group that I booked be the only group on the ride?

Yes! No other bicycle tour company in New Orleans offers this unique private experience. We intend for the Nightlife Ride to be a parade on 2 wheels. In order to create this ambiance we allow a max of 30 people to book on a single ride.

What kind of groups do you host?

Our private rides are geared toward any occasion. From a girls night out, bachelorette parties, bridal showers, birthday celebrations, family reunions, corporate events, team building experiences for businesses, or people who just want to have a good time. We offer a magical nightlife experience in New Orleans that will be remembered forever.

When should I arrive for the ride?

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time of the ride. The ride departs at the time you booked the tour and ends at the designated time. We do not give reimbursements to those who show up late. All participants must fill out a waiver. Early arrival also gives us ample time to fit everyone on a bicycle and to give a safety briefing.

Where do we meet for the ride?

We meet at our French Quarter location:

626 North Rampart St. New Orleans, LA 70112

Do you offer the Nightlife Ride during the week?

If I have my own bike can I join for free?

Our nightlife rides are private parties on wheels. We provide security, select the safest routes, provide the music and ambiance, and generally work hard to make our ride one of the top nightlife experiences in New Orleans. Therefore, anyone who joins the ride has to be a paying customer.

Where do we stop on the Nightlife Ride?

We generally make 3 stops that include a corridor on Frenchmen St., Bourbon St., and we also stop for a photo opt on the Mississippi River.

What kind of music do you play?

We generally play bounce, hiphop, R&B, trap, etc. However, we can play anything. Simply make a request to the lead guide at the start of the ride.

Are food and drinks included?

We don't provide any food or drinks while on the ride. We do make 2 stops on the ride where one can use the restroom, get a snack, and buy something to drink. We also sell water at our shop for $1 a bottle.

Do I have to wear a helmet?

Wearing a helmet is a required by our insurance and one will be provided to every rider.

What type of bike will I ride?

The must trusted and fashionable city bike in New Orleans! We realize that most people haven't used back pedal brakes since they were children. For this reason we have invested in top quality city bikes with hand brakes. You will ride with comfort, ease, and style on one of our beautiful Public Bikes. These elegant single speed, Dutch style city-bikes with curved step-through frames are easy to ride. We also take the time to adjust the seat to a comfortable height rather than assigning you to a bike that may not fit your size.

Unlike many other single-speed bikes, our single-speed Public Bikes allow you to coast and relax while riding, while also using powerful dual pivot hand brakes and alloy rims to ensure great stopping power. Built with a high-quality steel frame, they have matching fenders and chain guards.

The bikes’ geometry keeps comfort in mind, as you ride you will be able to sit upright and take in the sights without hunching over. They are also equipped with a cup holder, bell, and a front basket to carry your belongings.

Whats your cancellation policy?

48 hour notice of cancellation is required.

How does the Nightlife Ride work?

As described above, the nightlife ride is like a parade on wheels. Our escorts will lead you around town with a soundtrack to boot. One escort up front and one in the rear. The escort in the front will lead you on the smoothest and safest routes, while serving as a DJ. For larger groups the escort to the rear is going to direct traffic and deal with any technical issues should they arise.
